Sick of spending money on masks that feel insecure? Tired of elastic wearing out? Want to show off your personal style? Do we have the masks for you.
Rae, our weaver, was sick of seeing low quality masks being sold that weren’t made to last, so we decided to provide quality masks at a reasonable price.
Our masks are:
- Able to fit anyone 4 years old and older
- Made from Quilter’s cotton
- Double layered cotton for double protection
- Made with Straps instead of elastic (strap colors may vary)
- Minimal fogging of eye glasses when worn properly
Quilter’s cotton has been shown to be one of the closest fabrics to N95 that can be made at home. Under our tests, when worn properly, blowing through them will not move a candle flame.
Our masks are double sided with a print on one side, and a solid color on the other side, allowing you to always know which side was facing out, enhancing your safety when needing to remove and replace masks.
Straps are used because unlike elastic they will never wear out, and can be used to adjust to any head size. They are also washable and capable of being sanitized without any damage to the mask.
Our masks are one size fit most. We have tried them on everyone from our 4 year old to the Viking and with 18″ straps they easily fit everyone. For young children they come further down the neck but that allows for a better fit than you will get with elastic masks.
